Whitney Houston found Dead

Legendary singer Whitney Houston has been found dead in the Beverley Hills Hotel in Los Angeles,California -at 15.43 she was found unconscious in the bathtub (allegedley underwater) and after unsuccessful efforts at resusitation (paramedics were nearby as she was supposed to perform at the Grammys later on), was pronounced dead at 15.55.

Reportedley Alprazolam (also known as Xanax), a sedative and hypnotic drug used to treat anxieties, was the cause of death- the same drug was used by Heath Ledger before his death and also by Michael Jackson (who reportedley took around 10 pills a night during his child molestation case).

For over a year Houston,48, was never the same, many say she was constantly fatigued and irritable with mood swings while being broken voiced and unable to reach her high register-seen when singing at her last concerts in Australia 2010. Michael Jackson (a close friend)'s  death, her troubled marriage with ex-partner Bobby Brown and her daughter's drug addictions may have contributed to this. The latter was also rushed to hospital from stress and shock as police did not allow her back into the hotel room, causing her to have a 'shouting match' with them.

Eerily just as Michael Jackson was one of the pioneers of black male artists, Whitney did so for black women and both died of a drug overdose and had not performed in over a year and were set to perform again.

We will always love you Whitney :'(

Al Qaeda #2 Ayman Al-Zawahiri recruits Somalis and aids Syria

Successor to Osama bin Laden and current head of terror unit Al Qaeda, Dr. Ayman Al Zawahiri is calling on Al Qaeda to help the Syrian rebels, a day after Al Qaeda and Somalia's terrorists Al Shabaab announced they would join them.
The Al Shabaab also fight to impose a strict Sharia law on Somalia and are fighting two fronts: the pirates and the crumbling government; the latter two also fight each other turning this into a real life Royal Rumble.

Al Zawahiri, 62 wants to carry out Osama's dying wish of toppling the corrupt governments in Arabia and, instead of fighting for a free and democratic Arabia, wants nations of even stricter Sharia law and anti-Israeli and anti-Western governments.

Al Zawahiri has a $25 million bounty on his head and Al Qaeda was responsible for a double suicide bombing in December that killed over 44.

The death count in Syria's city of Homs has risen to over 400.

The Middle East has become a complete mess-even before the Arab Springs:

Governments in Qatar, the UAE, Kuwait,Saudi Arabia and even currently-troubled Bahrain Oman,Jordan,Lebanon,Iraq,Tunisia,Algeria,Morroco and Egypt agreed with the West on intervention in Libya and Syria.

Being Shia Muslim,Iran is against the above Sunni Muslim Arab states and is on the Assad's government side but like the above, is against Israel (albeit more openly against them than the above since Egypt and Jordan have signed a peace treaty with Israel while Saudi Arabia and Iraq want peace between Israel and Arabia).

Al-Qaeda, like Iran,Syria and Yemen are openly against Israel in an active manner compared to disapproving Lebanon, Kuwait, Bahrain,UAE,Somalia,Pakistan,Bangladesh and Saudi Arabia. Al Qaeda however, are not friends with Iran.

Israel is hated by many Arabs-even in countries that have made peace.

Persian (Shia) Iran hates Israel, the West, and does not like the Arabs (Sunnis).

Al Qaeda hates Israel and the West and does not like Western influenced Arabs or Shia Iran.

Syria and Yemen (and non-Arabic Somalia,Pakistan and Bangladesh) are the only countries openley against Israel and the West.

Ideally we need countries that do not hate our ally Israel and Shia and Sunnis need to get along to stop these militant groups and follow the example set by Egypt and Jordan to actively make peace with Israel and (a long shot) SHARE Jerusalem (Jewish Israel won Jerusalem and the Temple Mount where Al Aqsa and the Dome of the Rock are situated but gave it to the Muslims to stop excessive violent- since the 1800s there have been an increasing number of Jews in Palestine/Israel and they LEGALLY PURCHASED land to live there post World War II- a number of Muslims did not want this and fought against sharing the land thus culminating in this on-going conflict).

Green= Arab state
Dark Green= Have been to war with Israel
Blue= Israel
Red= Gaza and West Bank

Funnily enough, Osama bin Laden told his children before he died that they should go and live peacefully in the West and get an education there so they do not end up like him-Zakaria al-Sadah, whose sister was Osama's fifth wife, said the al-Qaeda chief did not want his children and grandchildren to follow the same path of terrorism like him, the Daily Mail reported.

It seems these people repent in the face of death by non-Jihad and that they knew they were wrong- well, those high up like Bin Laden did anyway.

Oh Cap!

Fabio Capello has resigned as England boss after the John Terry racism scandal
Capello, 65, resigned after criticising (on Italian television) the English FA's decision to strip John Terry of his captaincy.
Under Capello England have won 66.67% of their matches (28 wins-8 draws -7 losses)

The highs

* It all started on 6th February 2008 when England beat Switzerland 2-1 in a mediocre match

*28th May 2008 saw England beat the USA 2-0

*31st May 2008 saw David Beckham be captain for the first time after the 2006 World Cup; England beat Trinidad and Tobago 3-0

*England finally beat Croatia (the team that stopped them going to Euro 2008 in 2006/7 by winning 2-0 and 3-2 respectively) on the 10th September 2008 when they beat them for the first time at Zagreb 4-1 (Walcott scored a hat-trick)!

* With the other qualifiers in  2008, England beat Kazakhstan 5-1 (11 October) and 4-0 (6 June 2009), and 3-1 (15th October 2008) and 3-0 (14th October 2009) against Belarus

*2008 finished with England beating Germany 2-1 ; the first time Germany lost in Berlin for 35 years. This was revenge for England's first loss in new Wembley in August 2007 when they lost 2-1 to them

*On the 9th September 2009 England thrashed Croatia again-this time 5-1. Surprisingly both Lampard and Gerrard scored 2 goals each, showing they can play together (sometimes anyway)

*Before the World Cup England beat Mexico and Egypt 3-1 in 2010 friendlies

*England won a group match in the World Cup when they beat Slovenia 1-0. England actually showed potential that day

*After the World Cup, England's Euro 2012 Qualifying campaign started in September 2010 with a 4-0 win against Bulgaria and 3-1 against Switzerland.

*England were somewhat improved the last few months when they managed to beat European and World Champions Spain 1-0 in  Wembley on the 12th November 2011 (the first time in at least three matches) while also defeating Sweden 1-0 on the 15th. The latter was important as England has never beat Sweden since 1968.

The Lows

* On March 26th 2008 (the second match) England lost 1-0 to France via penalty (Nicolas Anelka was fouled in the penalty area and Frank Ribery scored the winner)

*A lacklustre England survived and drew 2-2 against the Czech Republic in Wembley on 18th August 2008

*England lost 2-0 to Spain on 12th February 2009 and, against Holland on the 12th August 2009, came from 2-0 down and drew 2-2

*England beat Ukraine 2-1 on the 1st April 2009 but on the 10th October they lost 1-0 and the 100% qualifying record was broken. Keeper Robert Green was also sent off after fouling Artem Milevskiy

*In Qatar on the 16th November 2009 England were beat 1-0 by Brazil

* Against Japan on the 31st May 2010 England beat Japan 2-1; only after trailing 1-0, Lampard missing a penalty and Japan scoring 2 own goals

*During the 2010 World Cup (surprisingly replacing Walcott for Heskey), England started the first game against USA all guns blazing and Gerrard scored after 4 minutes but a weak (and slow) shot by Dempsey that was stopped by Robert Green slid under him and caused the USA to equalise. The match ended 1-1 and caused England to be group runners-up after scoring less overall goals than USA

*The second match against Algeria was a 0-0 and dissapointment

*Germany and bad-refereeing sent England's ego crashing down in the second round of the World Cup. After going 2-0 down in the first half, England equalised just before the end AND a long range shot by Lampard went over the line after bouncing off the crossbar but was DISALLOWED as the assistant referee Mauricio Espinosa didn't see it and neither did the main one, Jorge Larrinoda. England went on to be thrashed 4-1 and humiliated

*England's first loss since the ridiculous World Cup campaign was a 2-1 friendly loss to France in November 2010

*England failed to beat Montenegro in October 2010's Euro 2012 qualifier, drawing 0-0. England couldn't crack Montenegro the following year and drew 2-2 but sealed qualification

The Future

Harry Redknapp is the favourite set to succeed Capello, especially since he was cleared of tax evasion charges on the 8th February 2012 after a 13-day trial. He may be English, passionate and successful with Tottenham and Portsmouth but it is worrying since he couldn't keep Southampton from relegation in 2005.

Other potential coaches include Sven-Göran Eriksson , Guus Hiddink, José Mourinho, and home-grown  Terry Venables and Alan Shearer.

For now England has Stuart Pearce to take charge

Over 200 die on each side of the World

In both Europe and Asia we see over 200 people have died on each continent, but both for completely different reasons.

In Eastern Europe, temperatures pushing minus 40 degrees celcius have caused the death of over 200 via hypothermia, frostbite, cold and flu and, naturally, have caused major disruptions; Ukraine has seen the worst of it with the death count over 120 while Poland follows with over 40,Romania and Bulgaria have over 20 and 10 deaths respectively. As well as the aforementioned countries even Western European countries such as Italy,Austria,Greece,Germany,Belgium,France and the UK and Ireland are starting to feel it.

More than 80% of the river Danube between Bulgaria and Romania has been frozen while thousands of schools have been shut. Rome in particular came to a standstill from the first snowfall in 15 years and parts of Venice's river were frozen. Belgium had over 1100km of cars delayed and Siberia,Ukraine,Poland and Romania have officially declared a state of emergency. Thousands have been admitted to hospital from symptoms related to cold weather.

If we go Southeast into the Middle East and Arab Africa, the Arab springs are still raging strong in Egypt, Yemen and Syria. All three countries have a lot of Al-Qaeda links (Osama bin Laden was a Yemeni raised in Saudi Arabia and the second-in-command Ayam Al-Zawahiri was an Egyptian) , the latter two in particular, are backed by Iran (an openley anti-American nuclear power),have poor human rights issues (Sharia law being absolute in Yemen while in most states in Syria and Egypt) and are openley against Israel;particularly in the 1948 Arab-Israeli war that was INITIATED by the Arabs (Egypt was low-key after defeat during the Six Day war initiated by Israel and had opened up for tourism).

In Egypt over 80 people have been killed in fresh riots since the 3rd February after football team Al-Masry beat top team Al-Ahly 3-1; the pitch was stormed and over 70 were killed on that day alone. Egypt has slowly been stabilising since February 2011 after Hosni Mubarak's departure but hiccups such as this and the Israeli Embassy attack on 9th September 2011 (3 dead, over 1000 wounded) have added to the death count of over 900 since 25th January 2011.

In the Syrian city of Homs over 200 people were killed over the past few days after the government opened fire and bombed on civilians. Between 5500 and 7100 have died since the 15th March 2011 while Yemen follows with a death count of 1784-1870 since 27th January 2011.

The USA, UK, France, Germay and even Tunisia have called on the U.N Approval to storm Syria and overthrow its government but Russia and China have vetoed it!

It is time to storm Syria and Egypt without China and Russia before they are completely lost to the likes of nations such as Pakistan and Iran and end up trying to nuke Israel.

John Terry stripped of England Captaincy

Womanising-but-legendary-defender John Terry has been stripped of his captaincy of the England squad and hte decision to go to Euro 2012 hangs in the balance.  Terry will also miss this Sunday's match against Manchester United at Stamford Bridge.
The video below shows the incident between him and Anton Ferdinand (younger brother of also-legendary Rio Ferdinand of Manchester United) during Chelsea's match against QPR on 23rd October 2011 when the former lost 1-0.

Many claim Terry called Ferdinand a 'F*cking bl*ck c*nt' and on 25th November 2011 he was intestigated under caution by the Police and on 21st December he was charged with racist language by the Crown Prosecution Service.

This was not the only time Terry has been in the spotlight:

*In September 2001 he and his teammates were fined by Chelsea for an incident with American tourists at a hotel airport bar after 9/11
*In January 2002 Terry and team mate Jody Morris and Wimbledon's Des Byrne were charged with assault and affray involving a nightclub bouncer on a night out- at that point he was banned from the England squad  during the 2002 World Cup
*Also during 2002 he was fined for parking his Bentley in a disabled car parking space
*In 2009 he was investigated by Chelsea and the FA for allegedley taking money and giving a private tour of Stamford Bridge to an undercover reporter but this was later dropped
* A high-profile case in 2010 saw John Terry stipped of his England captaincy for a year (including the World Cup) when he allegedley had a four-mouth affair with former team-mate Wayne Bridge's (yummy) baby-mummy Vanessa Perroncel
* In May 2010 John Terry's older brother Paul Terry was caught having an affair with team mate Dale Roberts  (of Rushden and Diamonds) fiancee Lindsey Cowan; Terry left Rushden and Diamonds at the end of the season and the grief of the affair led to Roberts' suicide later that year

Anton Ferdinand has also had his fair share of issues-notably arrested for assault on Emile Walker at a nightclub in Ilford in October 2006; charges were dropped when he said he was defending himself and though Walker was trying to steal his £64,000 watch

Rio Ferdinand is stuck in the middle of this as he hates the fact that racism exists in football but still states he will be 'a shoulder to lean on' for his brother. He has said he does not want to be England Captain.

Terry will be put on trial after Euro 2012.
