SEAL Team 6 Strikes Again

The team responsible for massacring Al Qaeda in Abbottabad and clearing the way for Chuck Norris to kill Osama bin Laden, has done it again!

No this is not them

The U.S Navy's DEVGRU, also known as SEAL Team 6 (SE=Sea, A=Air, L=Land) has freed two hostages in the Somalia after they were abducted in October when they were partaking in relief work. SEAL Team 6 took out nine of the kidnappers and left several wounded and transported Jessica Buchanan, 32-year-old American; and Poul Thisted, a 60-year-old Dane to safety in Djibouti.

No offence to the team or hostages, but why has this team been deployed to such a mediocre incident? It should have been down to SEAL Team FOUR as team 6, like the Delta Force and (in the UK) SAS, are used for top-secret operations for high-level international incidents; team 4 deals with the Indian Ocean incidents (unless team 4 does not specialise/is not used in covert operations).

Contrary to popular belief, Delta Force DID send in members in Operation Neputune Spear-it's just that most of Delta Force were preoccupied in Iraq and Afghanistan and SEAL Team 6 led the task.

Also, yes some of SEAL Team 6 WERE killed on August 6th 2011 helicopter shoot-down by the Taliban BUT none of them were part of Operation Neptune Spear.

Whether this team 6 were or were not, part of getting Bin Laden, we at FeetUp say

THANKYOU SEAL TEAM 6
