Triple Tragedy Weekend in July

Between the 22nd and 23rd of July 2011, there were three major tragedies in the world.

Terror Attacks

The first and second were dual terror attacks in Norway conducted by anti-racist, anti-Islamic and anti-equality Zionist, Anders Behring Breivik. This man believes that racism is wrong but at the same time, equality amongst the population is a bad idea and that the Muslims are the cause of World terror; he is seen as anti-Nazi because his ancestors must have fought in both World Wars as a helping hand to the Triple Entente. Many say he is a Christian Zionist-this means he believes Jerusalem is not for Muslims. Basically; he is a NAZIPHOBE,ISLAMOPHOBE, COMMUNIPHOBE and DEMOCRAPHOBE!

The first attack was on the 22nd July 2011 at the Regjeringskvartalet  government quarters in Norway's Capital,Oslo. The bomb went off from Breivik's Volkswagen crafter. The explosion started a fire in the nearby Prime Minister's Office and Ministry of Petroleum and Energy while the shockwaves shattered the windows in most of the square's buildings, including the Ministry of Finance
Police received repors at 15:26, four minutes after the blast. They arrived at 15:28. Eight people were killed, eleven seriously injured and fifteen with minor injuries.

The second attack was  less than two hours after the first; Breivik, arrived at the Island of Utøya, 25 miles Northwest of Oslo, dressed as a Policeman. Those on the Island were part of the Norweigan Labour Party's Youth for they were at their summer camp; acting as a Policeman he rounded the Islanders up to tell them about the bombings. Oslo began to open fire on everyone in sight. People began to flee to the river to swim to mainland Norway but he even killed many of those trying to escape. Many resorted to hiding underneath dead bodies,in the lavatories or underground and communicating via silent text messages. Breivik killed 68 people yet surprisingly spared an 11 year old boy and a 22 year old male; however he did kill the brother of Mette-Marit, Princess Consort of Norway.
At 17.27 the local police were informed and by 17.29 the Oslo police were informed. By 17:38, the Norwegian central anti-terrorist unit Beredskapstroppen was dispatched but did not have an operative helicopter available that could take them straight to the island. By car they reached the ferry crossing at 18:09, but had to wait a few minutes for a boat to take them across. They reached Utøya at 18:25. Within two minutes of police arriving the gunman surrendered; albeit still holding loaded weapons.

The simulaneous attacks were well planned; the shootings were done very close to the bombings time-wise because Breivik knew that the police would be busy dealing with calls regarding the bombs. As well as the police uniform, Breivik obtained a semi-automatic rifle and a Glock pistol legally in Norway, noting that he had a "clean criminal record, hunting license, and a pump action shotgun Benelli Nova already for seven years" Breivik also obtained a legal permit for a Ruger Mini-14 semi-automatic carbine, ostensibly for the purpose of hunting deer. With regards to the explosives, Breivik carried out an online purchase of chemicals  from a Polish retailer based in Wrocław (March 2011).
Finally, Breivik knew that  the Norwegian police does not have any helicopters that are suitable for transporting groups of police for an airdrop; the Norwegian police have to rely on assistance from the military. Many people have criticised this. When at the shore, the police could not find a suitable boat to reach the island. The boat they finally located almost sank because their equipment was so heavy; they had to continuously bail out water as they made the crossing.

Amy Winehouse Dies

23 July 2011, Amy Winehouse was found dead at her apartment in Camden 3.54 BST.

From 2005 to her writing of Back to Black in 2006, Amy has had a history of drug addiction, heavy smoking and drinking as well as violent mood swings and self harm. After her Grandmother's passing in 2006, she spiralled out of control again, culminating in hospitalisation for overdose of heroin, ecstasy, cocaine, ketamine and alcohol. In January 2008 she entered Rehab and through apparenlty successful, throughout the year she was spotted with marks of self-harm as well as acting drunk in public. That same year she was diagnosed with emphysema due to (past?) cocaine and tobacco abuse. In 2009 she underwent a drug-replacement programme but was still drinking; a year later she stated she had not taken drugs since 2007. Her final health related news was in May 2011 when she stayed at the Priory for one week..

Amy had just quit her 12 legged European tour of 2011 before her death; she still displayed alcohol-related  problems.

They tried to send Amy to rehab but she said no,no,no

Wladimir Klitschko becomes Unified Boxing Champion!

Wladimir Klitschko defeats David Haye in a lackluster titlefight for the WBA Championship.

This fight was supposed to be the biggest fight since Hatton vs Mayweather or Lewis vs Tyson. The latter two legends, along with George Foreman believed Haye would lose via knockout, a half-truth.

The match was in the open-air Imtech Arena in Hamburg,Germany but was almost cancelled due to the weather. Just before the scheduled entrance at 10pm, Haye's locker-room said he wasn't ready; the fight was delayed by a further 10 minutes.

Both men entered the ring confidently; Haye to an electrified crowd, Klitschko to a bunch of jeers. After the national anthem the fight was on!

Klitschko was firing out repeated jabs to Haye; Haye either slipped the punches or bobbed and weaved; every few punches he shot toward Klitschko and attempted one of his infamous haymakers but to little effect; Klitschko either blocked them or shrugged them off. Haye was not firing nearly enough shots and was losing points every time Klitschko hit him (generally when Haye attempted to attack the body).

In the closing stages of round two and the whole of round three, Haye counterpunches to good measure and accumulated the points from the multiple retaliation shots (either that or Klitschko was feeling lazy those rounds). However, winning one-and-a half rounds is nothing compared to winning ten-and-a-half.

Between rounds one and five Klitschko was warned for pushing down on Haye and making him fall to the ground. After that, the crowd could see that Haye was overreacting and was diving. In fact, the referee penalised Haye for this with a standing eight count!

Ironically it was in the first and last rounds Haye landed a good shot to Klitschko; these punches were not enough to win the match or topple Klitschko;the latter in particular were when Klitschko began using his other hand and ensured he won the match.

For 290 punches thrown, Haye landed 72 (24.8%). For 509 punches thrown, Klitschko landed 134 (26.3%).  The judges scored the match 117-109, 118-108 and 116-110; all Klitschko. Neither man boxed to their full potential but Haye had an excuse- he broke his toe three weeks ago; not a reason since three weeks is enough time to heal or postpone the match.

Here's to a rematch with both men at their peak with intact toes.
